Production and Sales Continue to Increase in November

Tokyo — TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) today announced the production, domestic sales and export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd. for November 2003.

  • Fifth consecutive month of increase due to increased exports mainly to Europe and the Middle East

  • Twenty-second consecutive month of increase due to increased exports mainly to Asia, Oceania and Latin America

  • Second consecutive month of decrease

OVERSEAS PRODUCTION

  • Twenty-third consecutive month of increase due to increased production in all regions. This also marks the highest production to date for the month of November.

  • Fifth consecutive month of increase due to increased production in Indonesia
